August 2026 enforcement is not a negotiation. Verko's mesh protocol is designed so compliance is inherent in the data flow — data stays on the originating device, encrypted end-to-end, with Ed25519 sovereign identity generated per-session.

OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Copilot — every prompt and every document passes through AWS, GCP, or Azure. The CLOUD Act gives the US government a legal claim on that data, regardless of where your business operates.

August 2026 is non-negotiable.

The EU AI Act's high-risk system requirements take effect August 2026. Enterprise procurement is already filtering vendors who can prove EU residency end-to-end. Wrappers around US APIs will not pass that filter.

"Private" tenants are still rented infrastructure.

Even dedicated Azure / AWS regions are operated under US legal authority. True sovereignty requires the architecture itself to never centralize the data.
